Louise Strachan
life coaching with a difference

My profile

Mid-forties, the prime of life, old enough to be wise, young enough to (just!) be able to refuse the label of middle age. I enjoy life, I enjoy people, I enjoy the rich tapestry of living.

I've had my fair share of problems, a little more perhaps, but I wriggle out from under, and learn that it's no big problem, that the lows serve to emphasise the highs, that happiness is earned, never given.

Because happiness is what it's all about. We, human beings, are given so much capacity to enjoy ourselves that to not do so is a waste, a terrible loss. And it needn't be selfish, if you are happy, people around you are happy. It's very infectious.

As I develop my blog you'll learn more of me as a person and as a professional, but for now, the boring detail that you need to know: I achieved a high level in the National Health Service as a clinical professional, I left because the environment didn't suit me, went adventuring and came back to set up my own practice. Qualified, experienced, insured, but above all, human and alive, living, kicking, screaming, vital.

It's my pleasure, my privilege, my passion to be able to help others to the riches of living, really living.
